Members of the public reported a harbour seal pup hauled out on a rocky beach near Whytecliff Park. The animal had been observed in the same location for at least one week and was emaciated.

Carnelian is doing well with weaning. He is a bit dramatic, but we figured Carnelian was the perfect dramatic name for this dramatic boy. He likes to roll on his back while fish feeding.
