Taconite is not so little anymore! He's long been moved to a pre-release pool where he is joined by many friends. He is still with us as he had to be treated for an infection with antibiotics which need some time to get cleared from his system. Once he's cleared for release, he'll join the others in his pool on their biggest adventure yet...

This is a pool designed to accommodate cetaceans, e. g. harbour porpoise. It is also used as the largest pre-release pool. Those who have made it this far will soon be released. They have already demonstrated that they can eat fish on their own and compete with others. Now they only need to gain a little bit of weight.
Taconite is stealing hearts with his long face and big eyes. Vetch tech Bree says that he looks like an old man!
