Squams is so big that it took no time at all to be moved to a pre release pool! He isn’t quite ready for release yet but will be there in no time!
Squams is now in a pool with his buddy Boomer. They are doing a great job competing together at meal time.
Fish school = complete! Squams will soon move to another pool where he can compete with other seals, and he is already well on his way to release weight!
Squams has left quarantine and graduated from fish school. He will soon move to a pool!
Squams is one of the larger seals in quarantine right now but he is a staff favourite and will be weaned onto fish very soon!
So happy that our little guy “Squams” is being looked after. It was quite the couple of days of “concern” prior to the rescue. Thanks MMR!
It was so sad to see squams all alone with no momma, I’m glad you saved him
Well we are so happy that Squams is doing so well. He was a strong guy right from the start. Go Squams!!!!
Squams is our little guy and we would love to see a few more pictures before he gets released!
When Squams was rescued from our home we had already grown attached to him. Our symbolic adoption means a lot to me. He clearly was/is a fighter and we wish him great success on his release. He’s a fighter!
Best wishes and prayers to you Squams!!! Take good care and live life to the fullest out there! Thank you so much to all the angel people who worked with and helped Squams thrive!!
Good luck Buddy!! My heart is full knowing that you’re back in the “real” world. Wish I could have been there to watch your release ?
