Patient Updates

Marge Shrimpson was released after 50 days in our care.

You can see the list of all animals released at this release in the release record.

Marge has been with us for 1 month and 3 weeks ─ and she's already reached her release weight. She's going to be leaving us very soon. Good luck, Marge!

Marge is looking round and healthy in her new pre-release pool.

Marge has moved wrapped up fish school and moved into a pool!

Marge is described by the practicum students as “crazy pants” and a “vicious little monster” (which they mean in the most endearing way, of course). She definitely has a bit of an attitude. She wants her fish now, and RIGHT now, if not before now! She's also an "escape artist", regularly trying to escape her tote when her tub is being cleaned. She now has a lid on her tote during cleaning, but sometimes even this is not enough.

Marge has gained quite a bit of weight (she weighed 12.60 kg last time we checked) and is being weaned. If fish school goes well, she'll be in a larger pool soon.
