My sisters and I first noticed “Jamie” at almost low tide. We watched for awhile…. as he wriggled from one damp spot to another…..trying to find relief from the heat of the sun. Gulls were starting to pester him and we knew it would not end well. A phonecall to my daughter steered me to the Vancouver Aquarium and their ‘rescue’ line. Once we exchanged info, and a few pics of “Jamie”, MMR swung into action! Thank you so much for all you do! Jamie is now receiving the best of care.
So happy to hear that Jamie is doing well and has graduated to a pool where he can be with new friends. Thanks for taking great care of him.
Thought I was over-due to check on Jamie’s progress and was very happy to find that he had been released a few days ago. I’ll make sure my sisters know. Hope he does well in the ‘wild’ and lives a long life. Thanks again for your great care.
