Churro is a small, but spicy seal, found alone on a beach near Black Creek, BC, just a little way north of Courtenay. In addition to being underweight, this little pup was dehydrated and suffering from an eye injury. Given his condition, this pup had not been with mom in some time, and with the help of MARS Wildlife Rescue and Harbour Air, was successfully transported and admitted to VAMMR.
Churro was released after 106 days in our care.
