Patient Updates

Olive died on 2020/09/23 after 43 days in our care.

"Olive was diagnosed with megaesophagus, a condition where the esophagus (the tube that carries food and liquid between the mouth and stomach) loses its ability to move food into the stomach. When that happens, food and liquid accumulate in the esophagus. With a poor prognosis, no effective treatment options available and a poor quality of life, Olive was humanely euthanized."

Olive is improving more and more each day!

Small but sassy! Olive is gaining weight and strength, but she is still in quarantine keeping warm under heat lamp.
