Olive died on 2020/09/23 after 43 days in our care.
"Olive was diagnosed with megaesophagus, a condition where the esophagus (the tube that carries food and liquid between the mouth and stomach) loses its ability to move food into the stomach. When that happens, food and liquid accumulate in the esophagus. With a poor prognosis, no effective treatment options available and a poor quality of life, Olive was humanely euthanized."

Dearest Olive,
I checked several times a day, hoping I would see the critical sign gone. Little one, please rest peacefully and enjoy the endless ocean in heaven filled with all kinds of joys, curiosities, and exciting things. Love you, dear sassy Olive ❤️❤️❤️❤️! My heart and warmest thanks goes out to you MMRC and all the helpers ?❤️!! This has been a sad few weeks with losses, but knowing your hearts and bodies worked the utmost best for these little ones is absolutely beautiful and incredibly amazing.
You allow the hope in the world (that isn’t found easily or much) to exist, and keep surviving. Praying there’s more light to come and wonderful (little or big) milestones for all patients at MMRC. As well as there will always be people like you living, helping, and saving the world. Thank you forever, and Rest In Peace with happiness, and healthiness dearest Olive!
