Patient Progress

Fish School Noodles is now in fish school. He is currently learning how to eat fish on his own. All pups are initially hand-fed, but later fish is just thrown into their tub to give them an opportunity to dive for, grab and swallow the fish whole, head first. It's something all pups need to learn, and it requires quite some skill. Eventually, Noodles will eat entirely on his own at which point he will graduate from fish school.

Patient Updates

Noodles has all his teeth and is ready to munch on fish! He's also quite vocal... and very curious!

Guestbook for Noodles

  1. I found Noodles. He looked very skinny. I kept everyone, including dogs, away from him until help arrived. I was allowed to name him, which is neat. I wish him well and appreciate the updates. Thank you!

  2. I was there to see the Seal Pup on July 14 and it was heartbreaking to see the pup alone and separated from its mother and crying when carried away in the cart, even though it was done with care.

I hope DFO can put up Educational Signs to let people know it’s seal pup time and to keep a distance and leash their dogs, like in marine preserve areas on the beach in Victoria where many people come.

It’s so good to see a photo Noodles today.
    Looking healthy and beautiful.

Thank you for the updates. 🙂

  3. Hi precious innocent big eyed Mr Noodles. I’m so glad you were rescued and taken to MMRC where they can take the best care of you. They will give you lots of love and help you grow big and strong. Drink all the yummy milk they are feeding you and get well soon. Sending you hope, love and happy thoughts.
