"Training" Pool Jimmy Judd has demonstrated that he is confident eating fish on his own. He has been moved to a small pool that fits up to 3 animals where he can learn how to compete for fish with other harbour seals. He will move to a larger pool once he is confident enough.

Hi Sweet Boy! We sure fell in love with you and had quite the adventure getting you flown off Hornby to special care. So many people to thank — Elise for finding you; Marielle at IWNCC for immediately answering our call and providing direction and constant support; Barb on Hornby who courageously waded to net him and cared for him overnight; and Jayson of ‘Big to the Rescue’ who landed his plane in a farm field to pick him up from us. We hope you get P L U M P and get to Fish School! Can’t wait to see you fishing!

Wow, Jimmy — you’ve started Fish School! Good for you, little man! You were definitely meant ‘to be’. We’ve walked that sandstone for decades and have never found an ocean treasure quite so special. Keep it up and pay attention to your amazing VAMMR teachers. Did you know that ‘Elise’ who found you is a teacher? Guess whose students will learn all about you in September when they go back to school?
