Mussel has made it into the biggest pool. He's already been tagged for release. Now he just needs to gain a little more weight...
Mussel seems to really enjoying his new big pre-release pool. He can often be seen hauled out, with the sun shining on his belly...
You can hear him before you see him! Mussel is probably the loudest patient on site right now. He's also super alert, not missing a thing happening around him. A good sign!
This little guy was pretty vocal and active when he was observed needing help. He left no doubt that he had been without his mom and was hungry and in distress.
