Original Admission: 2019/07/15

Weight at Admission: 8.4 kg

Patient Progress

Pre-Release Pool Cheetah has demonstrated that he is confident eating fish on his own. He has been moved to a larger pool where he can learn how to compete for fish with other harbour seals. He will move between pools as he progresses further and develops his skills until he reaches his release weight. It can take just a few weeks or several months before a patient is ready for release, depending on health status and treatment plan, weight gain and transport availability.

Patient Updates

Cheetah is making wonderful progress in fish school. He's very eager during feeds and already taking herring with just a little bit of help.
