Believe it or not, when we asked what's special about Keanu, we were told that he has a "he cute little nose". Well, we can't argue with that.
Keanu is progressing normally. He is no longer receiving medication and is gaining weight.
This little guy was found on Merry Island. We watched him for 6 days and hoped his mother would return, but he got weaker and spent days on the rocks in the sun. The last 2 days he tried to climb into our transom well. We threw him back in the water, but on the 6th day we figured he was not going to get re-united with his mother, we called the rescue center and delivered him to Halfmoon Bay, and they picked him up within 2 hours!
