Marty is now in a pre release pool and growing each day! It won’t be long now until he is ready for the ocean!
Marty still adjusting to life in a pool, his new friend Cute Seal doesn’t like to share the haul out but Marty doesn’t mind and much prefers the water!
Marty is very vocal and likes to grumble and groan while lazing around his tub. He is always excited to eat his fish and is getting much faster. Dislikes: ice cubes (even on a hot day they’re very scary).
The highlight of Marty’s day is meal time! Even when his feed is finished he searches for any drops that may have spilled. Marty will soon be weaned onto fish which staff are confident he will enjoy just as much.
Welcome Marty! You are indeed a VIP (Very Important Phoca vitulina) ?
Proud of you Marty! You’ve come so far! Keep up the good work! Sending love and good vibes your way in your continued recovery! xoxo
