Patient Progress

Fish School Rocky is now in fish school. He is currently learning how to eat fish on his own. All pups are initially hand-fed, but later fish is just thrown into their tub to give them an opportunity to dive for, grab and swallow the fish whole, head first. It's something all pups need to learn, and it requires quite some skill. Eventually, Rocky will eat entirely on his own at which point he will graduate from fish school.

Patient Updates

Rocky lives up to his name and will rock and roll all over the place while being fed. Luckily for his care takers he is now in fish school which he enjoys much more than formula!

Guestbook for Rocky

  1. Hope you are progressing well Rocky! You are in very caring and good hands!!! Praying for you everyday!

Lots of Love and a Hug,

  2. We were the ones who helped rescue Rocky from Whaling Station Bay on Hornby Island. We watched over him for almost two days before it was apparent that no one was coming to get him again. The whole family is so happy to see him doing well and hope to see his little head bobbing up in the bay as he fishes with the river seals.

  3. Hello Rocky! With a name like that, you can rock backdoor to recovery! You are a cuttie and loved. Prayers for you sweet boy…xoxoxo
