One last night at the rescue centre... and Babirusa seems to be really enjoying it. Tomorrow she'll leave us for her natural home. Good luck, Babirusa ─ be safe out there!
They grow up so fast... Babirusa has made it into a larger pre-release pool already, and she seems to be good at picking haul-out spots. This is a premium one...
Babirusa is looking good in his "training" pool where he's figuring out how to compete for fish with another pup.
Babirusa is being described as one who has a true love for running water. While she was in a tub, she seemed to love being sprayed. Now that she’s in a pool, she frolics under the hose when the pool is being refilled.
I am so glad to see that she is doing so well and has been released!! We were all really shocked when we found a baby seal on the Aqua park at Qwanoes so we are happy that she has been moved to an environment more suitable for a seal!! (One of our campers named her Sammy)
